Ben Roy's new special just hit Youtube. I haven't watched yet but assuming it's the same hour I saw earlier this year, it's fucking great

 

Saw Ben at a little comedy festival like 10 years ago. The crowd had been kinda muted the whole show so he got on stage and just yelled at everyone for like 5 minutes until they loosened up. He went on to have a fantastic set and the rest of the show was so much better because of it. It was so bad ass. Felt like a punk band waking the crowd up at warped tour.

 

Saw him in a tiny club and there were only like 15 people there, he spent half the time not even using the mic, just walking around touching us and yelling. I just watched the first half of the special and it’s the same hour, it’s so good

 

I saw him sing Fugazi's Waiting Room with Mark Hoppus, Jonah Ray, and Whit Thomas as the backing band.

 

Whitmer Thomas was great tonight. Good mix of stand up and music. It was the last show of the tour so they played for like 2 hours just fucking around trying new shit. Also the crowd was all like 20 years old and hot it was confusing. And they didn’t shut up

 

Speaking of Whitmer, about to watch The Civil Dead

 

Seeing whit and the the boys next month and I'm not sure what to expect from the show but i'm excited.

 

The Civil Dead is fucking great and everyone should watch.

Saw Bang Rogers and his dog pick up some Homestate takeout tonight and it took two seconds of weird eye contact for me to realize it and we both hated it

 

Watched the new Jared Freid special on netflix last night and it was a good time. I'd never heard of him before seeing him on Stavys World last week so I was pleasantly surprised.

 

Saw Gabrus praising that special. Definitely gonna check it out this weekend.
