Jesus, extremely gross stuff. I'd heard he was a jerk (obviously) but nothing like this.

 

Yeah stealing material and being a dickhead was one thing, this is the first I'm seeing anything like that.

 

I've never soured on someone as fast as Jensen. I was a fan for a minute, then the more I heard him talk the more I realized something was off. How he leached off the alt comedy scene out here without being funny. The last straw came when he had Gil Ozeri on his podcast, while Gil was doing those hilarious Snap chats. He kept weirdly pushing Gil to use this device he had to shock people or some shit in one his videos, just so he could be a part of the trend. Just how far off the mark he was from what Gil was doing and how awkward and pushy the conversation got was extremely off putting.

 

I only knew of him through his appearance on Doughboys, which he seemed likable enough. Then I think Jack Allison went off about him shortly after and I haven’t thought of him the same since. Hope this means he leaves Patti Lapel and Gallery 1988.

Very, very weird to see dudes with "ally" and "feminist" in their bios replying to Melissa Stetten's tweets about JK by saying things like "oh my god and you were on the pistol SHRIMPS?! what a conspiracy!". Read the room

 

It is super weird that a dork like Jensen Karp could have stans ready to take bullets for him.

 

Today I found out a dude I work with was Karp's best man.

Before this, I was like "Oh hey, dude runs Gallery 1988, which I love, and had been funny on some podcasts, and he married Topanga. Good for him."

And now...all of this. WHEW!
