Master of None season 2 hits Netflix tonight

 

I finally watched Search Party (the movie) last night. Kind of insane a movie with such an incredible cast got shelved. It's real fucking stupid but I enjoyed it

 

Nick Thune and Emily Heller were spectacular last night. I'd pay to see either of them so both in one show was perfect.

 

I liked it too

 

Just finished Norm's special. It was okay, but I guess I expected to enjoy it more...

Gethard and Normand are up next in the queue if I can fit them in amongst Master of None.

 

I found that movie pretty disappointing tbh. I loooove Adam, Thomas, and TJ but I found it was just too formulaic.

 

Kyle kinane is doing a few small dates in England over the summer, got tickets for Manchester, really looking forward to it. More American comics should come over here.

 

Gethard's special was really good. I never followed him much, but with his show coming to Tru TV, I think now's the time start.

 

The newest High and Mighty with Lapkus talking about TV shows they watched while they were growing up is a must listen for anyone 25+. I'm losing my mind with nostalgia

Fun fact: I went to elementary school with someone who was on Figure It Out. He once punched me in the face and cried because he hurt his hand, I was unphased. To this day, the toughest I've ever been.

 

I've been enjoying High & Mighty (I get "ya number one fuck booooiiii" stuck in my head) and recently listened to the Amir episode about 90's TV and was excited to see Lapkus in the newest one and can't wait to listen. Also, I went to high school with a kid who claimed he was a contestant on Where in the World is Carmen San Diego ("Listen up, Gumshoes").

 

haha my memory of Carmen San Diego is legitimately like...one single still frame. I should revisit it

 

Lapkus is great on CBB today (of course)

First time to listening to High and Mighty (with Lapkus) and it's fascinating to hear Gabrus not be a character.

 

I always thought Gino was just an exaggerated Gabrus haha

 

Gino is skinny Gabrus

 

Speaking of Gabrus this was my intro to him ten years ago, haha
