    Wow Gethard's special was really great. I'm really loving this wave of emotional standup specials like his, Mike Birbiglia, Bo Burnham, Neal Brennan, etc

    I love Burnham, and I liked Birbiglia's latest special a lot. I thought Neal's was decent. I started watching Gethard's special last night and got through about 25 minutes before turning it off. I didn't really think it was bad, but didn't think it was great either. Maybe it got better, but it honestly felt to me like a speaker going into a high school or something and talking to students about anxiety, depression, etc. It just missed the mark for me.
