  5. Harmontown is my main source of comic relief on a weekly basis. I REALLY enjoyed You Look Nice Today's archive too.

Segura's one of my favorites going right now. Saw him a couple weeks ago and he had a new, mostly solid hour of material already.

  7. He's also one of my favorites and I full-heartedly believe Completely Normal is the funniest special on Netflix. I must have watched it 15 times by now.

Seeing Kyle Kinane tonight in Buffalo!

@Aaron Mook Likewise. Same with Mostly Stories, too. Great examples of good writing and timing.

Louis CK asking Rumsfeld if he's a lizard and the banter afterwards on this kills me.

  10. Kyle Kinane was amazing.

Always do the right thing. Supporter

I adore Doughboys. Wiger's Burger King/Five Guys tantrums on the last two episodes had me rolling, and everything Mitch says is amazing. I honestly don't care if they talk about food at all, they're just so great.

Also as a big Lauren Lapkus fan I'm excited to check her out on Characters.

  12. I just started Characters yesterday. Not sure how I feel about it yet.

So tell me something awesome Supporter

I liked her. Not trying to be one of those "OH SHE SOLD OUT" people but when I saw her at Oddball she was very subpar compared to what I had heard from Cutting/her past stuff. I still support her and all but that material just wasn't ideal and I look forward to her next set of material.

Haven't watched her in any movies so can't base opinions off that yet.

I'd say it's at least worth a shot haha. Could also be that Oddball required a shorter set from her or a less ideal environment from her but who knows. She had to play before Aziz Ansari and after Anthony Jeselnik, and for some reason Tony Romo introduced her to the stage?

  16. Generally speaking, I enjoy Amy Schumer and love Trainwreck, but that's just me. I would definitely go haha

On Schumer: I really liked Mostly Sex Stuff. I wasn't a fan of her show so my interest dissipated.

Jimmy Carr's new special is a lot more over-the-top that I thought it would be. Not sure what I was expecting; I only remember a few of his older bits.

  18. Thoughts on Josh Gondelman? His new special is up on streaming services now.

  19. He's really funny. Haven't listened to Physical Whisper yet but I've been hearing good things. He's coming to Cleveland some time in spring/summer. Looking forward to seeing him.

    Let it run Supporter

I've been listening to almost exclusively Doughboys as I catch up. Tell 'Em Steve Dave consumed the entirety of my 2015. I'll probably do another run-through once Doughboys is done.

    His podcast is ridiculous/hilarious too.

Also, Tony Hinchclife's new special on Netflix is pretty funny too.

@Mr. Serotonin I tried to watch that special when it first came out and I didn't make it all the way through. I think he's been hanging on to some of that material for a really long time.

Yeah, I remember being a little underwhelmed, but there were parts where I was cracking up. The Kill Tony podcast has been one of my latest obsessions. When the comedians are bad, it's hilarious, and when they're good, it's hilarious.

I've never listened to his podcast. I'll give one a shot sometime if I remember, and try his special again.
I saw him and Redban 2 years ago (?) and he looked like he was still getting an hour put together. He pulled out his phone to see if he missed anything. Maybe he wanted to showcase those jokes before moving on, despite them being a little old. It makes sense that it took a while to get them in stone; I imagine he's a busy dude.

    @muttley
The format of his podcast is pretty cool. Redban and Tony host every week and have guest comics on who are already established like Rogan, Renizizi, Greg Fitzsimmon, etc. They put names of 40-50 comics from the crowd in a hat. They're usually comics who are just starting out, sometimes it's their first time, some have been doing it for a couple years. They each do a minute of standup, and then the judges give them feedback, or sometimes just roast them, haha. Pretty entertaining.
