Shocked at how little I’ve listened to this.

 

I mean it's been hard for me to be absolutely fucking OBSESSED with an album with the amount of new music that comes out every week but I like this a whole bunch.

 

Shocked at how much I’ve come back to it, after being kind of lukewarm on first listen.

 

i don’t really like this album as a whole much at all but people of the pride and coloratura are very good

 

Ummm does Muse have a co-write on People of the Pride? That song, while not very good, is just a complete Muse rip-off.

Such a weird track on this album.

 

it's better than anything muse has done in a decade+, but yes it's very much in their style

 

I had a few songs from this album on a playlist when I was out in LA a couple weeks ago and it really is great driving music. My friend and I were both captivated by "Biutyiful" as we drove down PCH with a spectacular view of the coast, it was just perfect? I love "Higher Power" and "Humankind" too, and "My Universe" is a great mood lifter but particularly Suga's remix (it omits that weird "eyessss" thing that doesn't really make sense). It's really a pleasant listen, overall!

 

"Human Heart" (I guess it's just called, but I ain't labeling it that way) is such a beautiful moment. I really love how they've embraced aspects of choral music on these last two albums.

 

I should listen to this again.

He has, Head Full of Dreams was meant to be their last.

X&Y is so fucking good. almost every song has a perfect bridge or outro.

 

I think “Viva” is still peak Coldplay, but “X&Y” is very close

 

X&Y is a bottom 3 album for me.

I haven't listened to the newest albums enough to really form a solid opinion, but I think my favorite albums from Coldplay are X+Y, Viva La Vida, and Ghost Stories, and I don't really see that changing.
