Yeah they're starting to turn into the band where you definitely are in the minority if you AREN'T wearing one of their shirts at the show. I can't shake the unspoken rule from my youth of never wearing the shirt of the headliner to the show, haha.

I got so much shit for wearing an Incubus shirt to my first concert because they were the headliner. I was so confused by all these smarmy beardnecks talking down to a 14 year old lol

I'm a clown, I visit setlist.fm to see if the set is available then make a playlist of the set and listen to it nonstop, including on my way to the show. If I buy a shirt there I'll either wear it over my current shirt or just carry it.

But then again I have been 1 whole show in like 2.5 years so Idk if any of that is even accurate anymore

 

it doesn't make any sense, but when you're a kid just trying to fit in you'll abide by dumb rules like this.

This is me too lol. But this is the one show I haven’t done it for in years cause I actually know every song they’ve ever made and want to be surprised somewhat

 

I am a setlist playlist guy, especially if it's a band I like but don't know all of their discog. For Coheed I glanced at the setlist and knew what they did/didnt play for the most part but didnt know what order it was in.

 

My older sister told me when I was younger that it was bad luck to listen to a band the day you're going to see them and that has stuck with me ever since.
