I saw them with the dear hunter and porcupine tree, two massive snoozers

    The Dear Hunter are great

Saves the Day were probably the most boring

Saves the day sucked so bad lol

Also torche was just loud and obnoxious. People were booing them before they took the stage it was so bad lol

Sstb tour was perfect. No opener, and Coheed did acoustic set before. Phenomenal show

Full stop: booing any opening band, assuming there’s no abusers in the band, for any reason, means you’re a huge asshole

I agree, but it was just loud noise. Why does Coheed have a hard time finding good openers???

My fav opener was balance and composure, but most Coheed fans never gave them a chance either

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

Salivating at the thought of this wow

Torche is a better band than 90% of the other bands being talked about and anyone who uses the word fart to describe anything is a dork

Torche was a good opener but I didn’t appreciate them at the time. I think I’d like them a lot more now.

Would You Still Be In Love?

Consider me shocked that someone from chorus dot fm would rather see Balance open for Coheed than Torche

Balance is legit and actually has some melody. Torche like the one poster said was one loud fart

Would You Still Be In Love?

Why are you treating this like a competition? You know both things can be true, right?

    Monafide bonafide

Maybe Torche sounds better in a studio then. Their live performance blew. Pretty sure Balance has way more of an audience crossover w Coheed

We reach for the longest shadow

Coheed always have great support, Coheed fans just don’t know how to get over themselves and enjoy something outside of their wheelhouse. I’ve seen PBTT, MovMou, Russian Circles, BTBAM, B&C, I The Mighty, Silver Snakes, Glassjaw, and Thank You Scientist. That is a really solid and varied lineup.

I really wish that Pianos Become the Teeth/Moving Mountains tour came to the northeast. What a lineup.
