Bleeding is a great song.

this one is just a repetitive slog that’s 2 minutes too long and production that doesn’t slap.

I put on I Am King right after it was over.

 

Coming from Kurt Ballou's tones to this does feel jarring

 

I like this, even though I was disappointed with Forever lol. Could have been a WWE theme in the early 00's.

I wouldn't mind a collab with Underoath now

The hook sounds so familiar it's going to drive me crazy all night. Machine Head, Trivium or probably something from the old Roadrunner rooster?

I miss Adventures dearly

 

Adventures was so damn good

 

so many mixed reviews from friends who are into the band. some love it, some think it's nails on a chalkboard. really looking forward to whatever is thrown at us next.

 

This is alright...very excited for this regardless

 

they lost me after I Am King & this is not very encouraging but will give it a go in due course

 

really interested in the weird industrial stuff they've been delving into, but the production on here just feels... off to me. Like, i'm into the song but the heavy parts don't really feel like they hit as hard as they should. maybe it's the change in producers (i saw it mentioned that Ballou didn't produce this like he has the rest of their records) but it's noticable

i'm still excited for the record though, i loved all the experimentation they did on Forever

 

I’ve never cared much for Nick Raskulinecz as a producer. I felt like he took the teeth out of the two Deftones records he produced and it’s the same thing here.

 

Yeah this tracks. I thought he did SNW but no. Yeah this guy... lowkey sucks.

 

I just went through their disco again and I still prefer the Kids album.
