Super mysterious British artist, for the longest time we just had a shitty low quality leak of his music. Might be a "had to be there in 2012" thing but listen to Jasmine and BTSTU

He then got sampled by Drake for one of what consider his best songs

he was going to release an album and then someone in his circle leaked it, he ended up getting depressed and quitting music until recently he dropped a few songs

 

And by "recently" he means like four fucking years ago and then immediately went totally dark again lol

 

the fact it was 4 years ago is messing with my brain

 

This is the album that leaked that he eventually put up as an unfinished version

Lol I only knew because I said "oh cool I liked those new songs he put out" in a group chat earlier today only to be reminded that it has in fact been almost four years

Unless you absolutely hate hardcore music I kinda feel like Knocked Loose at least deserves a walk by. Kinda crazy THAT band is playing even if they play tons of festivals.

 

It seems like maybe they’re trying to mold them into being the next Turnstile or something.

 

I remember being recommended them when I was asking for music like turnstile, but I don't remember if I enjoyed what I heard

 

Turnstile was so fucking fun last year

 

My guess for pop punk/hardcore band that made the Coachella transition for this year was going to be Joyce Manor so scowl, knocked loose and soul glo was a nice surprise.

 

Was hoping for Paramore, oh well

 

The Knocked Loose vocalist is not accessible at all. And this is coming from someone who likes the band.

 

They’re also extremely heavier compared to turnstile. It’s pretty cool seeing heavy music on this and bonaroo(they’re also playing that)
