people are hyped for odesza and arcade fire possible sets and I’ve never listened to either of their music

 

I could take or leave Arcade Fire, but Odesza would be so sick. Wasn't Swedish House supposed to play after Harry Styles friday? Maybe they're taking that slot?

 

Yeah, Arcade Fire has never been my thing and I skipped their set last time they headlined Coachella, but ODESZA is fucking great

 

holy shit at Arcade Fire playing the Mojave in the middle of the day?!?!?!?!?

 

I'm not even going, but when I saw that, I thought the whole tweet must be a joke. Nothing about the spacing of these set times makes sense, either.

 

on first look, the only bummer that stands out to me is Flume and Brockhampton basically having the same set times

 

ooo ouch, and Maggie Rogers having the same set time as Vince Staples

 

How big is Mojave where Arcade Fire is playing?

 

A lot smaller than the main stage they played on in 2011 and 2014 haha

 

The Avalanches vs. Phoebe sucks, but I'll go Avalanches since I'm seeing Phoebe in June anyway

Brockhampton vs. Flume is super tough cus I'll probably have more fun at Flume but it's hard to pass on BH final show

Disclosure vs. Turnstile also a bummer, as is Mannequin Pussy overlapping with Rina Sawayama

Overall though, it could've been a lot worse. Is weekend 2 usually pretty similar (obviously with some changes to be expected but overall)?

weekend 2 is usually identical aside from maybe one or two swaps or slight (like 5-10 min) changes of set times.

I'm picking Avalanches, I never fell in love with Phoebe. Dunno what I will do about Brockhampton/Flume, because yeah... final show is hard to pass up, but I like Flume a lot more. Turnstile over Disclosure for me, no question, Disclosure hasn't been great since their first album. Rina 4sure.
