I've been making lots of ~fashion inspiration collages of ppl whose style has impacted me. I still have more I wanna make but I've wasted enough time for now.

Rachel Green is prob my most important. I swear growing up watching her in Friends has just socialized me into loving tights and mini skirts. Her fashion during the first 3 seasons are everything to me.

The good sis Stacy London has taught me to be positive about fashion and that u can feel good and express your personality. She also taught me about ur style being clever which I love.

Solange is a big inspiration when it comes to color and patterns. She's not afraid to be noticed and even tho I'm not nearly on her level she inspires me to try and go for it!

Chloe in Dont Trust The B wears great silhouettes and she shares my love of sweetheart necklines. She uses spikes, studs, animal patterns, and sparkle in really fun ways

they do make lefty scissors, but I just adapted to my surroundings and learned to use my right hand for cutting.

They do but for some reason I've never bought any. I can manage now for the most part (tho I guess I don't cut a lot of things lol) but as a kid it was toooough and sometimes I still just end up kinda bending the paper or yarn or whatever depending on the scissors haha. I'm glad those old metal kind of scissors have seemed to be phased out!!

What would be the difference between left handed and right handed scissors? There's a thumb hole and a three-finger hole and I'm not sure why it wouldn't be universal

Pretty sure it’s just the curvature on the holes. Like, for left handed scissors they are designed to fit a bit more snug and vice versa for right handed scissors. I think.

"Left-handed scissors have the blades reversed so the top blade is always on the left so that you can see your cutting line and the natural squeezing action of your hand pushes the blades together so they can cut like a guillotine rather than pushing them apart so the paper bends between the blades."

The paper bending instead of cutting was always a real problem for me so I prob should buy them some day lol. Not seeing the line is always an issue too, tho I normally just flip the paper over and go from a direction that feels more unnatural so I can see

I once spent $35 on one plain black curved hem tee at UO. w00ps. To be honest though, it’s a great shirt and I wear it all the time #NoRegerts. For the most part, I try to be frugal, but when it comes to clothes...dats my vice.

I wish we had better thrift stores here. I went to one recently and everything smelled like cigarettes and I could not do it.

There’s literally a whole block of vintage stores not too far from my house, but I am poor so I avoid going there and making bad decisions

There's two great second stores nearish to me that have a bunch of name brand stuff. They post most of it to Instagram and you can just call to buy it. I've gotten jcrew, Clark's boots and other cool stuff there.

It's also a pretty good spot to sell clothes at. Obviously they need to make a profit off of the clothes they buy but they offer more than any other second hand store for selling clothes.

I consider myself “fashion forward” or whatever the fuck you wanna call it, but I cannot get behind the trend of wearing beanies like this. It’s almost infuriating.

I have a beanie like that. Although mine isnt quite that small and it's a heavier knit one. It fits my "old timey sailor/nautical" aesthetic.
