  1. I could've sworn there was a thread for The 4:30 Movie, but I guess not. I liked it! Absolutely cloying throughout, but the second act had some good laughs with a great cast and it was refreshing to see something only tangentially to the View Askewniverse, even if it did kind of feel like Superbad Zero Sugar. Definitely a breath of fresh for him, even if it's not great, per se.

I should probably rewatch Clerks 3 at some point.

    Die rad.

Ive been dying to see 4:30 Movie. Hope it hits streaming soon. Clerks 3 hits Peacock this month. I may rewatch it then. Really enjoyed it the few times I saw it. Still pulling Mallrats 2 happens. He keeps saying its his next passion project. And another J&SB movie. I enjoyed the Reboot for what it was.

  3. I also enjoyed Reboot for what it was, but J&SB are the least interesting part of the View Askewniverse for me unfortunately

I thought Clerks 3 fell a bit flat after the first two films. The drama was good and was certainly filled with heart, but the comedy never made an impact, imo.

Also sucks to see the friendship between Randal and Dante end in such a way.

Yeah they made Randall a dick/villain in clerks 3. It was a one time watch for me and I fucking love the first two films

I feel like it was a complete butcher of Randal’s character to have him care about his movie after Dante’s heart attack. I don’t believe for one second that the Randal from the first two films would do that.

I agree 100% and then how they ended it with Dante , yeah I was let down when I saw it In theaters, never wanna see it again. They peaked with clerks 2 in that trilogy
