Clerks 3: Lionsgate Nabs Worldwide Rights, Production Begins Next Month

 

Was just talking with some friends last week wondering when this was going to start production.

 

Looking for a reason to anticipate this considering Smith’s output the last few years

 

I think the main thing with Jay & Silent Bob Reboot was he was trying wayyyyy too hard to top, or even match, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back. I'm holding out hope that returning to these characters that he clearly loves a lot, and trying to write an ending for them, will lead him to make something that's at least worth watching once.

 

I have a hard time believing this will be any good.

 

I am curious to Elias’ take on the Transformers franchise since 2006.

 

Disagree, its quite easy to make at the very least a decent movie with these well established characters.


Give me more Randall and ill love it no matter what.

Im pumped.

Cannot believe how different Elias looks, didn’t even recognize him in the first picture of them all together.

Jeff and Brian look pretty much the same, just older.

And who buys Dante’s and Randall’s movie for distribution?

You guessed it, Harvey Weinstein

 

I thought he totally re-wrote the movie or am I wrong? Could have swore that was the case.

excited for this. Huge View Askew fan. Someone was knocking Jay & Silent Bob Reboot, but I dont fully agree. It tried hard and fell flat at points, but had so much heart you couldnt not like it by the end. I hope Clerks 3 works. Really want Mallrats 2 still.

 

It’s not important to me whether this is good, only that it’s fun. Looking forward to this.

 

Can’t see how this would be terrible. The first two are so grounded that unless they completely jump the shark it will be enjoyable.

 

This trailer has a fucking Sigur Ros song in it. lol

I do want to see this just as much as Clerks 3

 

Just put on Clerks II for the fuck of it, looked up any updates of III. Looks like Kev wants to show a trailer at Comicon in July and the release could be slated for the Fall.


I am beyond ready for it.
