they shouldn't be on pure noise (for several different reasons)
they'll sign to triple crown next record and be fine, they seem very happy

 

Yeah Gates being on PN is so dumb. I saw them last month and like 10 people were watching it was sad. They are so great live but I can't get into them on record at all

Yeah they were great. Head North played too. Everyone hear seems to love the new Head North record but I think it's really bad

 

never got into head north at all, diet have mercy from what i've heard of them and that's already not high praise

They don't sound like Have Mercy at all anymore but the new record was bad

 

well that's both good and bad
no movement here.

 

personally, have mercy is bad and head north is bad

 

stranger sounds from head north might be my favorite song of the year.

I would urge everyone to give the new album multiple tries.

If you still don't like it, I can't change you. Ha
But please the new have mercy is so much worse than anything head north has done in the past 4 years.

 

I liked the Bloodlines EP from Head North but the LP does nothing for me. Pretty I've never listened to Have Mercy

Tbh I always kinda forget Gates are on PN. Always associate them with Triple Crown for whatever reason

 

Bloodlines is a lot more have mercy than the new lp is. Bloodlines is like if the last few have mercy albums were good. The new lp isn't really like any current scene bands imo. I like it

I couldn't even make it through the Head North album.

 

I would have definitely been at that Gates tour if it had came to California.

 

I feel bad I didn't go.
Seen gates like 4 times and tbh I don't love going to shows with less than 100 people there.

Obviously chicken and egg problem but being in a 1000 person cap room with no one there makes me a little to aware of everything but the music

 

Back to citizen. This album feels wayyyy to far away

 

The Thrice tour was my first and only time seeing the band. I bought Parallel Lives after the show because of how great I thought they played. Just bums me out they haven't been back since.

 

That was def the best the singer has sounded from my Live show experiences with the band.

La Dispute however had the most off night I've ever heard from them.
Sounded like Jordan did a little too much yip and couldn't catch his breath. Weird set

The weirder/darker this band gets the better. Great video

 

I don't know what to make of that video but it was cool in an eerie way.

 

Love that song more with each listen
