Probably because a lot of people in or associated with the band are more focused on the BSN tour starting

This is your life, are you who you want to be?

I'm really digging this new EP. Though it sounds more like demos? Not sure how well it'll translate live.

Thought the first EP was a radical departure? Turns out it was only a stepping stone to this one, where they completely embrace an electronic foundation and shed whatever ties to guitar rock might've remained.

I have so many mixed feelings after a quick listen, but overall, it strikes me that this might be the best move for this group of guys at this point in their careers. It's been 15 years since the last Circa release I truly loved to its core. If I had to describe why, it's that the challenging, interweaving melodies and flourishes from J/OLG dwindled and never came back with consistency. With these EPs, I think they finally have... just in a totally different genre.

I'll probably always love the first couple records above all, but if this facelift is what it took for them to be super creative and intriguing again on almost every track they record, I'm down.

Is there an EP thread? I couldn’t find one when I searched.

First listen impressions of ADAH - Instrumentation is pretty rad. Vocally / Lyrically feels a little more demo’y than ADAL

Discount on Psychic Readings and buzzhenge stood out

    obliterate all prior things

SO many GREAT moments. Lots of surprises. It's funny, even with the patreon releases for the past 2 years setting the stage, ADAL took me quite a few listens to come to terms with as canonical circa. BUT having swallowed that pill ADAD goes down smooth baby. My original feelings on the new sound have really melted away and I'm just all in.

Yeah I’m a big fan of this EP after initial listens. This one is grabbing me much quicker than the last one did

whoa, this is really something else, so good and so unique. it's still strange hearing circa play music like this, but if that means we get songs like Buzzhenge, i'm all for it!

Another fantastic ep. heavily disagree with the vocal demo comment, I think they sound great. I wonder once people wrap their head around this new sound more if two dreams will be considered among the bands best work to date. The songwriting is incredibly strong here.

Yeah, between this and A Dream About Love I really think we're hearing some of the band's best work in a long time. So damn good!

I really like that Anthony doesn't fully let rip until the last song. Makes it hit so much harder.

They fixed your brain when you were young.

Same. The bass in Discount on Psychic Readings is also pretty memorable for me, but tracks 2 & 3 are the biggest standouts on the whole, initially.

    u wut m8?

Two Dreams or whatever these two EPs combined will be called is probably my favorite thing they've done since Blue Sky Noise. Curitiba and Late Naps are my favs.
