Definitely a return to form for them and I don’t even dislike LID.

 

Is there any kind of consensus on this band's album rankings? 'cause even after just one listen this is far and away my favourite album of theirs and I wonder controversial that is.

 

Long time fans will almost always rank TBOWYB as the best, some might swap it for EOE. LID is easily the most divisive album of the four. This should slot in above LID.

 

I like the debut the best but I think this one is the most cohesive. Probably my second favorite, may end up my favorite in time.

This is _so_ good. Final Girl is as good as you were all saying and OH MY GOD Nightmares.

 

Nah kid - lullabies

 

Lullabies is also excellent. Honestly I'm obsessed with all the album tracks. The singles sans HNTD are definitely the weakest tracks.

having this and turnstile come out at the same time (and seeing them back to back this weekend) is like, THE PERFECT Yin and Yang for end of summer

 

I put this album on as I fell asleep and have kept waking up, off and on, being in that drifting in and out of sleep feeling, and being like “woahhh what am I listening to??”

this is gonna be a good one

 

Really hoping they go all out and open their sets with AFAF.

 

The Dolby Atmos mix is near perfect for the album. First time I’ve really been blown away.

 

Yeah this fantastic and a huge step up from the last record which I didn’t enjoy all that much albeit a few tracks
