90's songs and Songs From Your Birth Year would be the same for me haha. I'm hoping to be able to join in again! I wanted to do a Phoebe Bridgers cover for the last comp but got sick.

I've actually submitted a few songs before, but changed my username since then (I was phillyfradet, and did the MCS, Weezer & Summer Music 2016 comps). I'm excited to start recording again!

    I'm tired.

What if an album was released the year prior but didn't get big until your year?

  11. I think we should keep it to songs released the year we were born.

  13. Oh shit, Nevermind came out in 1991. I don't know if that makes my choice easier or harder: I had a hard time finding another album I was familiar with from my birth year; on the other hand, it has quite a few tracks on it I could cover.

I have a cover of Cherub Rock (93’) I could probably submit. Just have to find the original Logic file, if possible, and touch it up a bit. Otherwise I think I still have the final MP3
