I'm changing my song to "the Hole" by Laura Stevenson, will still do Lack if there's enough time but if someone else wants to take it you should!

 

I probably won't submit all three, but more and more it's looking like this month is going to be Tegan and Sara. I think I'll be doing "Walking with a Ghost," "Nineteen," and "The Ocean."

 

All my plans to sit down and work on the songs fell through

Gotta at least find some time to finish off the Camp Cope track but the chances are get to do Chvrches are slimmer and slimmer.

 

Yeah personal stuff got in the way of me being able to sit down and do this, hoping to get to it this week. Really want to be a part of this one.

 

This week is the first week I'll have to work on my jams. I've been a busy Bradley since I announced this thing, haha. Time to buckle down and git 'er dun.

 

I'm in the same boat.

I'm off today but have been doing yard work. I'm off Thursday and Sunday so I'm hoping to muster up SOMETHING for my song... my wife is also off Sunday so I doubt I'll get any recording done then... hoping to bang out the tracks Thursday and do post-production stuff between Friday and Sunday.

I haven't recorded anything yet... learned the song but no tangible progress.

At the very least I got to sing Take It Off for Jake's awesome cover.

 

I was sick for like 2 weeks so I couldn't really sing. Got all the instrumental stuff done though. Vocals will be done this week.

These compilations started in the Blink forum on AP.net. We did 2 and then realized we should branch out and do other bands.

And that is where babies come from!

 

Ahh, I didn't even go look... just thought there were two for some reason.

I've got to drop out this month. First time I missed one in a whole year. Every time I've tried to work on this song it's gone no where. Today was really my last day to try and piece something together but I don't see I happening.

Look forward to hearing this! Hopefully I can get back in for the next tribute.

I ended up not being able to do any collabs with my friends in time, so I did a medley of five Mitski songs instead. It's one seven-and-a-half-minute track of just bass and my shitty vocals yay. Was going for a sort of raw feeling but it gets kind of boring at that length. I'm still doing two or three of the five fully with my friends later anyway, so. Sorry I kind of half-assed this one, guys.

I know it's like 2 days before this is due, but I just got a new macbook and realized it didnt have a headphone jack until i went to record haha. I ordered a C-port adapter and should have it tomorrow.

I'll prolly only get one of these done, 2 if im lucky. anyway, figured I'd give a heads up. Doubt anyone else wanted these anyway haha

I regret to say that I don't think I'll be able to submit my song this time around. I thought I was getting better, but my throat still kills and it is making it impossible to sing right now. Was really excited to see my cover was gonna turn out

 

think i'm going to inch this closer to a taylor swift comp and send in a cover of love story if that's alright
