Instrumentals for my songs are done, it's just about nailing the vocals now

All sent. Didn't have my usual recording setup this time around so it's a bit rough in places, but it sounds good for what it is.

Sorry, I take it back. I found time today to work out a decent version of the IHOW song too... will probably be submitting both songs tomorrow.

 

i woke up with a sore throat this morning. i'm gonna have to get crackin' on my song(s) ASAP, before it gets any worse! ahhhh!

Finished my cover for "Decorated Lawns", but it didn't come out quite as I wanted. Probably going to re-record it this weekend.

I'm not sick, but it would make more sense if I was sick because I can't get any of my vocals to sit right in my recording!

I've sent both of mine! They're not the best but I just wanted some practice playing and recording stuff, because I hadn't recorded anything for a few weeks (which is a long time for me!) before this week :)

 

This maybe because I just saw Moana and the music is stuck in my head, but would anyone ever want to do a Disney and/or a general musical compilation? I think that could be rad.

 

Songs from TV / movies has been suggested before. I'd totally do Get Schwifty... or a montage of every song from Rick & Morty.

I think we're doing a tribute next month. I mean, are we back on the tribute-tribute-mixtape cycle now?

 

I did some Jimmy Eat World on my own this month because we already covered them a while ago. Was kind of thinking about Dashboard next month for Valentine's because I'm oh-so-clever and emo and shit. But I don't know, if we decide to do a band I'm already planning on doing this year (I'm calling it the 52 Covers Challenge), I may just switch to that for February and join you guys.
