Yeah he's a creative through and through, I don't think he's done with music in the slightest. Probably gonna take a break due to some huge acting opportunities and come back under his own name

 

Between Atlanta, Lion King, and Han Solo, I'm just glad he's gonna have time for more music at all.

I've never heard it in public or on the radio

 

I hear it on the radio pretty often, at least on the hip-hop/r&b station. Almost surprised it's not higher

 

I put this on again today and am really feeling it. There's some great stuff on here.

Don't forget that the charts now count YouTube views. This includes any use of the song in memes on YouTube as well. Memes rule the world, it's why so many songs these days get bumps when videos trend. That's why that old song used in the Running Man Challenge memes charted after so many years

 

A week after announcing at Govball that that was his only show for 2017, he ends up announcing another show hahah

He's playing with Dave Chappelle at Radio City in August. And of course I'll be out of town that day : (

Oscar I can def see within 5 years, the Tony is going to be one I'm not sure about

 

I don't want this to sound rude, because everything is well deserved, but for the people that Grammy voters are... I feel like they only now are giving recognition because Glover is a huge movie star now

 

Well I think Awaken is legitimately the best chance he's had at a Grammy nomination ever so that makes sense, but it getting noms like album of the year with songs like California on it is head scratching. So I'd say it's a bit of both ha

 

Donald's popularity could play a factor, but I think it more has to do with this being his first album that actually got universal acclaim, along with his first top 10 single.

 

My brother accidentally ordered two copies of this on vinyl and just gave me the second one, so I've been listening to this quite a bit lately. I'm doubtful he'll take home any of the AOTY awards, but he's definitely deserving of the noms and I'm very happy for him

 

I actually think he has a good chance of winning Record of the Year, R&B Song of the Year and Urban Contemporary Album.
As for Album of the Year, I think he has a better chance than Lorde and Bruno, but it'll probably go to Jay Z.

 

Actually scratch that, I actually think he has a good chance of AOTY too, solely because Jay Z and Kendrick will cut the rap vote in half.
