Wasn’t the end of this episode only 4 months after the explosion?

Agreed, I feel things are getting a bit rushed by episode 4, but then again, for drama's sake, I guess if they were to extend it one more episode, the drama might have dipped enough where the viewers might not be as engaged. I felt it a bit in episode, especially during the dog chasing scenes, that the edge we felt in the previous episodes wasn't there anymore. So if they did have six instead of five, maybe they could have fleshed out either the initial accident, or the first month or two a bit more, but whatever.

Damn. I do agree, I wish this were a bit longer. Especially if next episode is all the trial/retracing what happened that night. It seems like there's a lot to be covered in just an hour. But if cutting some of that was necessarily to retain the quality of the show, I'm fine.

    Great footage of the miners:

    - Is it hard?
(men covered in sweat and radioactive dust)
    - Not quite, we`re doing our best, it has to be done.

Wow, just discovered this incredible playlist of documentary videos, all on different elements from the show, but how it played in real life

My new response to the non-stop fuckery that is daily life: "3.6 roentgen. Not great not terrible"

It never even really occurred to me that they would cover the trial (I figured that would be in the end credits or something). I didn't see a preview for the last episode, is that what the final episode will be about?

Yep pretty much; trying to go back in time and explain what might have happened in the control room

The animal hunting really fucked me up.

This episode will probably end up being my least favorite just for the sheer amount of dead animals, but I appreciate that the dude in charge is willing to kill anyone who makes them suffer. Getting me to identify with someone doing my least favorite thing imaginable is a tough feat.

I think the third episode will be my last favorite just because how awful the radiation poisoning was. The animals, for the most part, aren't seen. It's a fucking bummer, but seeing someone without any skin and leaking all over the place was just too gnarly for me. Had to close my eyes for some of that

I got my parents to finally watch this and they both loved it. But the most interesting thing to me is that my dad, who is soft-hearted and very empathetic, had a really hard time watching it because it made him so anxious. And then apparently he had trouble sleeping both nights after watching 1 and 2 and then 3 and 4 a couple nights later.

I think this is the first time I've heard of it happening to him. Powerful ass show, man.

The first one that he made suffer almost made me leave the room to get some air. Brought up way too many painful memories of losing my dogs to see it panting like that. Plus a lot of the other scenes reminded me of what I can remember early on starting my aversion to this stuff as a kid, so it was just brutal to get through.

The people were absolutely horrific though, I’m not arguing there.

Heard about the roof scene all week and wow did it live up to the hype. So incredibly tense.

I doubt it will hold onto that title, but I expect it to stay super high.

The fact the KGB fed the Germans a fake number thus leading the Germans to manufacture a weaker robot was crazy.

Also yeah that roof segment was legit terrifying

They should have sent the Mail Robot to do the job. He’s never failed us.
