If you woulda told me right after Pop 2 released that it would be six years and change before she released her magnum opus I woulda laughed you off. But I'm also not at all surprised at this point. She's a machine.

Saturday will be my 9th time seeing her and I’m hoping to catch a Sweat show too. She’s slowly creeping up the list of my most seen haha

Honestly one of my favorite Deluxe reissues of an album in recent memory also, 3 songs make it just enough to be a fun addition without completely bloating the project and all 3 add their own standout moments for the album as a whole

Apparently her metacritic score was 93 and rose to 94 today… that’s fricken nutssss.

She doesn’t come to the mid-Midwest, so I’ve only seen her on her opening set for the “Reputation Tour,” which counts as like half a time.

I had tickets to see her with Bleachers in 2015 but the second half of that tour got cancelled. So the first time I saw her was this show lol:

If my avatar doesn't make it obvious she's one of my ultimate faves but for some reason I can't exactly recall how I found out about her. I do remember it was shortly before True Romance came out, so it's likely it happened through an ap.net user posting either Nuclear Seasons, You (Ha Ha Ha) or You're the One on the forums. Maybe she already had a thread at the time?

I was like a couple months away from getting haaaaard into pop music (having then only listened to Kimbra, Ellie Goulding, Gabriella Cilmi, All Saints and... Lindsay Lohan lol), and so she ended up being the first popstar I was obsessed with. 2013 was a very special and pivotal year in my music journey.

yeah I've also been a fan since True Romance, saw her live opening for Ellie Goulding. The whole crowd was confused and ignored her. She was wearing a very, very short crop-top and performed I Love It and no one as much as bobbed their heads.

I had a blast and left mid Ellie Goulding. (I love Ellie Goulding but that set was awful)

Boom Clap + Sucker got me hooked. That era gets a lot of flak in retrospect. Vroom Vroom was obviously the start of Modern Charli ofc, but I feel like Sucker was in the same conversation of Sky Ferreira, Lorde, and eventually CRJ as the new wave of unconventional pop stars or whatever.

I got into Charli with Pop 2. I listened to it for like a week and had no idea what to make of it, but I kept going back to it for some unknown reason until soon realizing it was absolutely incredible and my initial uncertainty was just my brain reassembling itself after being blown to pieces.

Yeah Pop 2 was what sold me. I didn't like her early stuff at the time and still don't really but from then onwards I've loved almost everything she's put out.
