Album is banger after banger

 

And ballads haha

 

All love and respect but I can’t fathom not liking pink pony club

 

I think Pink Pony Club is amazing, and as spiff said it’s banger after banger.

Even the ballads are bangers (Casual)

 

Hot to Go, Casual, Pink Pony Club, and Red Wine Supernova are perfect songs. Feminomenon and Good Luck Babe are just outside that tier for me. The rest is all good but it’s really those 6 I keep going back to, maybe throw in My Kink is Karma too.

 

Only song I’m not fully sold on is Coffee

 

I could pretty easily cut half the album out to make an EP I really dig

 

How many music publications are going to find a way to add this album to their Best Albums of 2024 lists? Additionally, how many people are going to add it to their own personal best of lists for the year

 

This is 100% coming and I’m going to be annoyed lol

 

Casual is the one.
I like Coffee a lot definitely wouldn't say that is one of the weaker tracks.

 

This is easily the best album I’ve discovered this year but I will still leave it off my 2024 end of year list

I learned semi-recently that Chappell attended the singer-songwriter program at Interlochen Arts Camp when she was in high school. Interlochen is a prestigious summer arts program in northern Michigan, not far from where I live. I work as a local journalist, so this gave me an excuse to write about Chappell for work. I did not get to interview Chappell herself, but I did get to chat with one of her songwriting teachers from back then, and I thought he had some really smart and insightful things to say about why she's resonating with so many people right now.

And I haven't been able to listen to anything else since.
A day that I will celebrate yearly. lol.
