One has what may be my favourite moment in their entire discography. One is what I wake up to almost every day...

The King Beetle On A Coconut Estate
Tough start as I rank these on a similar level. I think King Beetle has that epic feel, particularly with the "why not be utterly changed into fire?" repetition at the end.

Every Thought A Thought Of You
Easy choice. Love the lyrics here and have never really liked the other track.

Cattail Down
Tough. I like the stories contained with Cattail Down and how it builds to the perfect end. With the end, I love how it repeats and repeats, driving it home. Very singable. An enjoyable experience overall. Hard to vote against Bullet To Binary (Pt. Two) though because of the obviously refreshing return to Aaron's 'more usual unconventional' vocal style. There are also some of the best examples of puns and jokes in the discography.

Again my two favourites are against each other in round one, I just like Cookie a little more.

I thought this would be easier since I don't listen to this album as much as their others. Nope, still difficult choosing between songs

 

The King Beetle On A Coconut Estate Interesting that these two very narrative songs go head-to-head right away. I feel like Fox, Crow is a pretty divisive song on an already divisive album. I happen to love it, but King Beetle edges it out as being the more epic-sounding song.
Every Thought A Thought Of You Stick, Carrot ha a fun little melody but I don't think I've ever really absorbed it as a track. It just sort of runs right through my ears every time it comes on.
Cattail Down Bullet to Binary is a really fun track but Cattail Down is one of my favourites on the album
