The Four Trees repress GO GO GO!

 

Supporting Minus the Bear on their farewell tour, pretty sure that combo was the first time I had heard of Caspian back in like 2011.

 

Awesome tour. Too bad they're done by the time it hits California.

btw still haven't gotten my TFT repress which totally sucks

This little thread bump just reminded me I still haven’t gotten the Four Trees repress back i ordered in May lmao

 

I listened to Waking Season before work this morning and for some reason Hickory ‘54 hit me in a way it never had before. Always enjoyed the song but wow.

 

That stretch from High Lonesome to Long the Desert Mile is one of my favorite moments in their discography.

been too long since i’ve listened to anything other than Dusk & Disquiet from these guys.

 

In the last year, I think I've listened to Tertia more than any other Caspian release. When that album first hit, I liked it, but glossed over everything except Ghosts in the Garden City. For some reason, this year, that whole record just resonated with me. Of Foam and Wave => Concrescence => Raven just was hitting everything. Now in the last few weeks, I'm back on Waking Season. Love these guys so much.

 

Sycamore is one of my favourite songs ever and I hope they never drop it from their live sets.

 

They did a couple times on the Dust cycle unfortunately.

I get they probably wanted to change it up, but that song needs to be there. I can’t see a crowd walking away from that being unimpressed.

 

Seen them twice now and haven't gotten Sycamore. I haven't gotten Fire Made Flesh either. Still great shows.

 

I've only seen them once and that was opening for Katatonia in Calgary, which was an interesting pairing but it was a good show. Didn't get Fire or Sycamore but I did get Castles which is probably my favourite song by them so it's all good.

Can't wait for a chance to see them again.

 

I've seen them 3 times, and they still haven't played The Raven.

 

They played The Raven at the Katatonia show I went to in Pomona.

I saw them five times on the Dust cycle and got Sycamore three times.

The song I want to see more than anything now would probably be Concrescence. It’s so good on the live record.

 

Recording in May!

 

Hoping for a September/ October release then!
