I can't tell if I fully bought into the "this song is about masturbating" and EVERYTHING Carly says in this video is tongue in cheek or if we're all fucked and she really just wrote a song about drinking alone and feeling good about it.

I'm obsessed with party for one. I feel like it's a masturbation anthem but as a single person who does a lot of things alone it's my empowering loner anthem oop. I had it on repeat for like an hour and a half as I danced around and cleaned my house lol. I like the message of just being like whatevz fine I'm just gonna do me and have fun doing it!! Like it's not a wallowing alone song which is nice. Like the opening lyric is perfect too. Sets the tone nicely. Jam and a half.
