I didn’t realize I was listening on shuffle and Party For One came on after like 8 songs and I almost cried because I thought the album was over already.

This is so fucking good I would kill someone for her

 

I don't really get why people online are calling this album "muted" tbh

 

I think most people here would tbh

The comments I really don't understand that I've read online, are the people saying this isn't as "catchy" as Emotion. Of course you don't find this album as immediately catchy as an album that you've been listening to for 4 years lol

 

It's the last track on Spotify. Looking at Wiki I guess it's a bonus track

 

"I'm not singing along to every song, so it must not be as catchy as that older album i've listened to a million times."

 

Someone's gotta say it I'm automatically in love with this album *throws up hands*

Some people just seemed way too prepared to jump on the "this isn't as good as emotion" train

 

Who cares if it’s as good as emotion, it’s awesome. He needs me is kinda a miss for me, and I don’t love the feature, but other than that I think this is great.

 

Wowww I love this. Want You In My Room is the best song I've ever heard. That guitar part in the verses sounds straight up lifted from a Bleachers song.

 

Halfway through my first listen. Highlights so far:

Want You In My Room
Too Much

The vocal melody on the verses of "Too Much" sound like something Taylor Swift would sing.

"Automatically In Love" what the fuck is this perfection?!

 

I think there are a few misses on this but overall it’s a good summer pop album. I respect how unapologetically singular it is, even if I think a couple of the songs sort of blur together. We’ll see how I feel later on down the road. Favorites so far are the prerelease tracks, He Needs Me, Feels Right, and the last two tracks. (Last three on deluxe.)

 

Umm did you not hear its incredible chorus?

 

I deleted that part because I’m relistening now. I actually prefer the verses though!
