Seems like yesterday this was years away and we were stop waiting on who would be playing Danvers. Now we are a month away. Wild.

 

I'm pumped for the next few months of Marvel movies to begin again. The breaks in between are so tough!

 

Definitely some great comedy moments in the new TV spot.

Also, they released proper photos of the Captain Marvel Hot Toys today (there's a regular and deluxe.)

I remember going to Starwars.com at school when the title of episode 2 was announced and the graphics were on the same level as that page.

Sad cause I’m pretty excited for this, but box office predictions are now looking like about half of what was originally expected.

 

Predictions were on par with what Wonder Woman made (and unlike WW, Captain Marvel has not shown up even once in another movie.) I’d say that’s still pretty impressive.

Yeah that’s the new predicted total. Before it was up near 170-190 million.

 

I’d love to be proven wrong here, but I never thought it had that kind of potential at the box office for opening weekend, and I always thought those numbers were inflated. If it makes the same amount as Wonder Woman (or even slightly more) I consider that a massive win for Marvel, esp. a character we’ve never met until now.

That said, I already have tickets to see it at two showings, and I have 6 contest entries to see it on 3/5 at an early screening. I’m pumped!
