actually my very interesting idea for a story that was definitely not fan fiction was steve's lil assembly group from WS trying to bring in bucky w/o causing a ruckus and natasha finding out that he had a hand in the death of tony's parents, causing him to be like "we gotta STOP this evil evil guy!"

 

Hey, this is the same dude that when after murdering some dudes by throwing them out the window of a plane, and then watching people ride these missile things, decided he had to go down with his ship and stay frozen for a few decades. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed that Cap.

I would read Kayla/Steve fan fiction.

 

i would never do anything as silly as writing avengers fan fiction ever

but if i were to do such a thing it would be the basically canon steve/tony, cmon.

 

Wouldnt Falcon Captain America be so much better?

 

hope the beats in this play out much better than they did in the comic. the og comic arc had a good idea but they didn't really execute it well. Mark Millar DEFINITELY didn't write Cap well at ALL

 

yuo're not WRONG but i just...love chris evans....and he said he would re-up his contract...and seb stan has that 9 pic deal so if cap dies, we're going to get bucky cap like, 100% which is NOT better.

 

The eyes and symbol are classic Ditko, which I expected. Didn't expect the eyes to actually move; it'll allow some decent Ditko-esque expressions, but I'm not sure it was the best choice. Hate that it looks CGI. ASM2 look is still easily best.

Besides my favorite superhero's debut, loved the trailer. ...that hurts to say, lol. Black Panther looks great, and I love Ant-Man on the arrow.

 

I agree Bucky wouldn't be a improvement. But I think the best story they can tell here will have a similar ending to the comic, so fingers crossed either way

Me, when it comes to Spider-Man, tbh.

 

Cool, though I doubt that'll have literally any bearing on this movie, lol.

All signs point towards this and the Spidey solo film borrowing mainly from the Lee/Ditko era of Amazing Spider-Man and the Bendis/Bagley work on Ultimate Spider-Man.

i have unfortunately read this arc so if it ends that way you can find me glued to the floor of the theatre i see it in, unable to cope.

 

Knowing that I played a role in these forums having the emoji will forever be my greatest accomplishment here.

Chorus has a Black Panther emoji. AP.net has contributions from the user oakworst. Pretty clear winner there.
Now to watch the trailer a lot more.
