Now I’m not fully up on my comics stuff but you’re telling me there’s a character named after a bridge that is named after a president and they included the bridge part in his name?

 

It sounds stupid I actually think it sounds kind of cool :( but there are parents in real life who do "cute" wordplay with their kids' names so I respect the idea of incorporating that into the comics universe.

 

I’m not mad at it lol, it’s a little funny but it’s also comics and sounds like a real enough name I was just making a joke

 

Giancarlo did say his character will make numerous appearances, so…

Most likely yes. As much as I shit on him, it’s the one thing DanielRPK usually gets right.

 

Giancarlo Esposito was featured way more in that teaser than I would’ve expected. Lol

 

Red Hulk finally

 

Looks fucking great. Definitely got the same CA vibe as the Steve Rogers trilogy.

 

Looks better than I expected but I’d be more excited/interested if someone other than Mackie was the lead.

I’m definitely still on the “how does non-super soldier Sam go up against Red Hulk in this movie?” train. But I dug the trailer a lot. Love Harrison Ford though so maybe I’m just blinded. Lol

 

what if he's a super soldier by the time this movie ends hmmmmmmmm

 

That would definitely make the most sense and I personally wouldn’t care. But it would just be odd after they made such a big deal about it in TFAWS

 

I don’t think he has the juice for the lead in this type of thing, or maybe it’s just the character has been kind of dull to me. I like him outside of Marvel.

He has been dull in the MCU for sure, but he did great in Twisted Metal and Altered Carbon, so I'm cautiously optimistic

Having Harrison Ford is gonna be dope. I didn't even know he was going to be Thaddeus until this trailer. I wonder if they're going to make the MCU version of Red Hulk an antihero over time and how long until that happens

 

Isn’t Giancarlo Esposito supposedly playing G.W. Bridge? A Rob Liefeld creation from X-Force, one of Cable’s old buddies in the comics, whose full name is “George Washington Bridge.”
