100%. In terms of media, I just checked Google News for Camp Cope and have yet to see a single non-AUS media outlet cover the Falls story. I would’ve thought Fader or Stereogum would’ve at least had an article. Not sure if that speaks to CC not being as prominent here in the US or the overall silence that seems to be surrounding the entire subject.

 

Yeah, I'm not sure how big the story is elsewhere. It's pretty big here. Unfortunately, only one act also at Falls Festival has shown support for them: Luca Brasi (they're also great). A few other Aus music peers have stood with Camp Cope, mostly fellow non men and poc.

I don’t think too many in the US music press have any knowledge of or interest in anything that happens outside of the US

 

Been on a big Camp Cope binge whilst this has been going on. Something about track two always really spoke to me in a way I can't understand.
