Still love Coming Home if we're being honest...

 

As disappointed as I am for the band, I suppose it's only a week. It could've been crippling and so much worse. Excited to hear everyone's thoughts and to finally talk to people about it!

I love Coming Home now. Really nice start to the album.

 

New York probably. That definitely seems to have the most potential singles wise

 

They'll be playing "Thinking Of You".

This is what I thought they might play because they said they wanted to save New York for the album and Thinking of You is one of the few songs left where they all have a part, ha. I love Matt's part in that song.

I think I would like this album more if you replaced all of James with Matt tbh.

 

I like Matt more than James on most of it but I really like James on some of these. I think I like James more than most people though. Ha.

 

I really like this so far... it's even more '80s revival than I would've guessed, which is to say a LOT, but they surprisingly pull that off really well.

 

That saxophone on "I Will Break Your Heart" is tasty

 

"Kids with Computers" is the only one I'm not that into... the synth, vocoder effect, and lyrics all put together just makes it too corny for me.

 

I love everything about that song except for the "kids with computers" bit that kind of drags after a while.

 

Yeah it should've ended sooner I think.

 

I just think they could have done more with it, made a real chorus, stuck a bridge in there.. I think the verses and Charlie's section are both great.

Not the best performance. Charlie's never been the best performer when he ditches his guitar but I think it works a bit better when he's screaming. I wonder why they straight up dubbed over James, ha.

 

Also I wonder how that came across to someone who hasn't heard that song.
