What’s to come!

 

I’m guessing definitely not surprise album (will gladly take an L if wrong)... I think they’ll want to build hype but I wouldn’t be surprised if the lead single is accompanied by a full album announcement.

Either Mantra is the album and Salvation is the single or reversed. Either way I’m down but I think I prefer Mantra as the album

 

I’ve somehow completely missed all of this. Which is good bc less time to wait! Very excited. Didn’t realize it was time for a new record already.

 

Is this Years & Years

 

There’s no way this’ll be as good as Years & Years

 

My bold prediction: It’ll be their poppiest single ever, but really well-written for that style. I’ll love it along with others with an open mind, metalcore bros will hate it.

 

Better hair than his TTS era hair he was rocking that's for sure, that middle part was awkward. I quite liked his Sempiternal style though.

And yea I could 100% see Salvation being the name of the album.

That's from Has It Leaked, which anyone can edit. But tbh I do think that's the likely album title... and I'm guessing in any case we'll find out tomorrow.

 

HERE WE GO

 

I prefer them when they have more metal in their music. I think Sempiternal was their sweet spot.

Also rumours they are playing the secret set at Reading on Friday so I'll let you know how it sounds live.

 

I have this interesting analysis about BMTH that they always have two particular songs on each album; one that plays back to the previous album's listeners and one that on release of the next album will be cited as the blueprint for their newest music.

For example:
Sempiternal: Antivist is the song that harkens back to There Is A Hell/Suicide Season. 'And the Snakes Start to Sing' laid foundation for That's The Spirit

Food for thought.

 

If that’s the case Doomed better be the blueprint

 

I'll take a stab and go with 'Follow You'. I think that was a massive single for them, really was stripped back of any of the heavy guitars and featured full clean vocals without that grit that's maybe apparent on 'Avalanche'. That's where I see them going on this.

 

I feel like oh no mixed with doomed would be cool

 

So 2pm EST we hear a new song? I’m definitely interested but have low expectations.
