Like someone in Reddit said, this is a bummer and technically true but seems like it’s not referencing the real issue. I sincerely hope Conor gets better

As before, I'm not just going to make assumptions, I don't know the guy. I also don't need to know the truth or not, if he is taking time away for himself, perfect, go for it.

Pretty safe to make an educated guess if you’ve listened to any podcasts or have seen performances over the past few years. I hope he can find a way out of a clearly very dark place

What has he said on podcasts?

(I don’t listen to podcasts and had not heard anything)

The rest of their 2024 live shows cancelled too? Just seen a headline, need to read into it ehh

    Yes, canceled.

I’m not reading into it. Taking it at face value.

oh yes, I just meant I had to read more about it to see if the European shows are cancelled too ;d (and used some wrong wording on that hahh, sorry).

Everything's cancelled, I'm pretty bummed, I had tickets for Berlin right after my birthday (joined with tickets for a Hot Water Music and Quicksand show the very next day, which I could actually go see somewhere a bit nearer otherwise), I think I hadn't been this excited in months hahh, that's too bad. I understand health issues and wish Conor speedy recovery with his voice.

He said on the Andy richter podcast that a couple years ago he was in a very bad suicidal place and in some other recent podcasts he’s been very clearly extremely fucked up, and just idk it’s clear he needs a break so hopefully this all works out

What is weird about being concerned about an artist you like?

  13. phaynes12

    https://expertfrowner.bandcamp.com/ Prestigious

it seems like a desire to be concerned for him over stuff that is none of your business and projecting at best for no reason

Idk he’s talked openly in public about it so idk what to tell you

they have publicly said the reason they cancelled was due to a medical condition with his vocals/throat. why are you acting like it cannot possibly be just that? it’s odd

Probably because I have parents with awful substance abuse problems and these kinds of things are usually half truths. Yes, he fucked his voice from singing too much, sure. It’s a moot point though whatever, I just do hope he gets better and they can tour

Andy Richter also directly asks Conor on that podcast and he says he’s doing pretty well all things considered..that was prior to the secret shows, blowing out his voice & these cancellations obviously

That show was never going to happen because it sounds like a made up place

Damn. Was pumped to see All Threes live in Las Vegas & get weird.

Oh well. Better that they make the responsible choice instead of being unsafe and pushing through.

I also was supposed to see him in Berlin, and also going to see Hot Water Music the next day. It's interesting that HWM play a smaller venue this time compared to their 25th anniversary, which was sold out if I remember correctly.

As a football fan you actually should know that place if only for their football team, KAA Gent, and their great crest (the crest might actually be offensive to US people I don't really know).

Yeah, could've been a really sweet deal getting to witness such two shows back to back. But well, maybe some other time! And that's interesting as for that HWM venue cap; I've been quite surprised it's not sold out, and now even more so
