Big picture sounds like it could be the background music for tc tuggers

    It does sorry

wide awake digital ashified is wonderful. “After 41 years id be used to the spin” and “You might be offended, I know I was afraid” kinda destroyed me.

Seeing them Sunday, I really cant wait. After a fairly terrible drunk conor show a couple summers ago I’d kind of filed the band away in some corner of my heart but I’ve really snapped back to reality on it - I care about Conor as a person a lot, I really hope he comes through whatever this period is alright.

Love these folky digital ash versions. It’s wild how much music we got from Connor the last few years, this was a really cool project overall. This is definitely making me want to see them next week. Question are these the versions of the songs they’re playing live?

Nate recently announced they aren’t doing a companion for DITW because it’s too new.

The next three will be Cassadaga, TPK, and a compilation so hopefully we get some b-sides or Conor solo material re-recorded for the last companion EP.

Brooklyn tonight was great! Conor was on point and the band is super tight right now. I’ve seen them 5 times over the last two years and this one is up there, maybe my favorite. Venue was really cool too!

I can’t really stand the revised Road to Joy or Land Locked but the rest of the tracks on these are a real treat.

Land Locked I dig but yeah the new Road to Joy is pretty bad

Loving all the little lyrical changes on the companion records. Some of them Conor has been doing live forever.

That being said, it makes me unreasonably happy that he left the Tim Kasher shoutout in "Nothing Gets Crossed Out" was scared he was gonna change it to someone he more recently toured with. The little pause in the music when he sings "Hang and black out together" gets me every time. Similar to the new "Arc of Time" when Conor sings "and the faders move, and the music dies" the music cuts out for a second. I fucking love this band so much!

got around to the new companions and WOW. All 3 are really cool but the Wide Awake companion in particular is just phenomenal, it's unreal how they changed up the songs here
