I still prefer TDAG. I really like it though. I'm not sure how much I'm into the samples. I tend to like the more straightforward rock songs on the album, like No Control.

I haven't listened to a lot of new music this year, but this is my fave band, so they were contenders before they even released SF.

I'm kinda bummed they're calling it quits, but I totally get it and this is a hell of a way to go out. I know they're sitting on a bunch of unreleased stuff and I hope they don't wait too long to release it all. I want to buy a deluxe BN collection of everything lol

Hey @fame do you think Kevin Devine was in the studio when they recorded SF? His influence is pretty clear on a few songs.

Honestly I haven't really been into his last few records, which I know is an unpopular opinion. I actually prefer him at his whiniest whitest boyest playingist acousticest guitarest. I feel like their was a lot of passion there. I honestly enjoy the lyrics more than the music. I miss his voice when it was shakier. It's funny, but I think him becoming a better musician has made me like his music less. I'm not sure what that says about my musical tastes lol.

I mean, he's white with a guitar, but I think that song has electric guitars instead of acoustic. And he's not a boy, he's more of a man.

@Kingjohn_654 i will echo your statement that i also enjoy his lyrics more than the music. i may have to re-listen to some of his latest records though as i did not notice his musicianship improving in recent years.

451 has grown on me a lot since this record came out. I wrote it off at first because the chorus sounds like Fall out boy.

My favorite song is Waste. Or In the Water.
