There was a weird thing where physical copies of the cassette had a reworked version of Nobody Moves, but the actual streaming service versions had the old one just remastered

 

That is very weird. I’ll have to check it out after class and perhaps I’ll eat my hat

 

I don't think I've heard the reworked version of nobody moves. I've just heard the remastered version I think. I need some mp3s.

Damn, every opinion I had of Nobody Moves was based on the original and remastered demos, this reworked version sounds incredible. The only differences (besides better production) are a nice snare roll into the breakdown, more guitarmonies in the breakdown and Jesse's vocal delivery. Yeah, Nobody Moves is GOAT.

Same Logic is the best from SciFi, but I feel more comfortable saying Sowing Season is their best song. It is a perfect encapsulation of everything I love about Brand New.

mate are you really going to make me look through the past 100 pages of rankings to find all the non-ranking related posts that went completely ignored because people were too focused on discussing the same albums they’ve been discussing for 17 years?

also uh a suggestion or talking point for the thread? how about idk the first two shows this band played since releasing their first album in 8 years that was also overlooked for “the shower scene > 70 x 7” posts lmao

 

Maybe you missed the part where we stayed up, watched that show, and discussed it consistently the following day. Mate.
