Tbh neither of these are their best song. Same logic is easily one of the best on SF but no way is it their best song and sowing season isn't the best TDAG song either (imo)

Does anyone know how many of this band's songs are in standard tuning vs half step down? Is there a way to tell? Also it's always half step down with them and not like drop d right

 

They do some drop d too.. I think desert is in drop d. Also soco? Idk they use both all of deja is a half step down. Not sure about devil.

thank you, I appreciate you. Is there a way to tell? Like, I thought Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot and Play Crack the Sky were in standard for example so I guess that's wrong? I think you're right about Devil, the lyric booklets don't tell you to tune yr guitar different to play the songs

 

Play Crack is half a step down, if my memory serves me correctly. It’s 100% not in standard. Most of Devil is standard and I think Daisy has some drop d in there

 

I'm pretty sure all of deja is a half step down, I remember being so angry about that in high school. Boy who blocked his own shot is def in g flat or f sharp I guess ha

 

Jesse loves belting those high b flats on that album. Don't blame him, a half step higher would have been rough ha.
