Well TAYF is still tied for #1 with WYWTB, even though it's obviously juvenile and inferior from a song writing stand point haha.

Louder Now is good but just doesn't reach the heights WYWTB did, and i think Tidal Wave has more/better highs than LN does.

I'm so so happy John is back in the band, but I def would have been curious to hear what the follow up to Louder Now would have sounded like with Fred.

 

I put TAYF at number 4, though I respect and love every song on it. I also agree with your last paragraph, though John Nolan is GOAT so I am happy he's back

I like Tidal Wave. It'd be no where near my top 10 (but like I have Chiodos and All Time Low albums in there so I'm not judging at all), but it's a great album. TBS is unfairly maligned in my opinion. I think they've really hit a cool sound with Happiness Is... and Tidal Wave. New Again is probably my favorite though honestly. I was so so happy they played Everything Must Go on Sunday. That used to be my go to "I'm sad tonight so I'm going to listen to this song on repeat song" in high school.

Edit: I guess it's weird to say I'm "happy" they played my go to sad song, but it gave me a feeling of catharsis

 

John Nolan is great.

 

I thought Tidal Wave was absolutely terrible. Adam's voice is a mess, and instrumentally it bored me

 

I have probably said this multiple times in multiple threads on here now but Tidal Wave is probably now my favourite TBS album and the only one I've actively listened to in the last year or so.

 

Alright everyone it's time to close this round and move on, we have clear winners. Both great songs, but one song stayed ahead almost the entire time, and now it's too large a margin to leave going. Here's the score:
