It's more baffling to me how aloc-acoc is doing better than brothers. I always got sad when aloc came on and wasn't brothers.

 

Yeah I'm big on Brothers > aloc-acoc but Fork and Knife is one of my favorites

 

Because F&K is a top 5 BN song and Moshi Moshi is . . . not.

 

I hope that you people who don't listen to the demos regularly find your peace and dive in because they remain my favorite Brand New release

 

I disagree with that first part pretty vehemently. Moshi Moshi isn't either, but at least it's fun and nostalgic. I like to pretend olac doesn't exist though.

 

Almost all of these are great songs but I feel like out of range and fork and knife are the clear best two here. 1996 and nobody moves close behind.

Hardest one for me was Missing You and Mene. If it weren't for the drawn out intro to Missing You, I'd probably give it the nod. Love the lyrics to both, but Mene is such a banger live and on record.

 

I guess I'm in the minority here but I'm drunk enough to admit that aloc acoc BLOWS brothers out of the water.
