Yeah everyone it's time to.m call this round. Good match, but we have a clear winner in our championship match for Daisy. It's been a long road but we have our winner. Here are the final scores:

Before we get this underway, I would like to thank everyone for attending and participating in this. These bracket games are for pure fun, and keep in mind these are everyone's opinions. Be respectful.

BRAND NEW FACE OFF

This will be NCAA style matches, with randomly generated brackets for each album facing off to decide which is the winner of each album. At the end of all of the albums, we'll do a finale Champions Bracket to decide the best overall BRAND NEW song!

1. Voting will take place over 10-24 hour period, depending on How close the matches are(if there's a wide margin too far to beat the round may be run ruled to not waste time).
2. You must vote on every match in a round. If you don't your other votes don't count. Jut reply to this thread with your choices. I will not vote unless there is a tie needed to be broken.
3. Feel free to discuss why you chose one song over the other and why you like that song. It's what helps keeps these fun!
4. I avoid byes into rounds if I can, but sometimes it's necessary. These are randomly generated I do not pick them.

I don't listen to demos / b-sides as much. I tend to only listen to whole albums, so the rareties fall by the wayside. I'm gonna try and catch up with some listening today so I can be a bit more confident in my choices.

"lol" is a dumb response to an opposing opinion, but you must know that already.

 

1996 (I Am a Nightmare may be my least favourite BB song)

Out of Range (the vocal harmonies are guhh)

Moshi Moshi (a really sweet power pop song. Brand New doesn't have many sweet songs. Also the vocal delivery on aloc-acoc is almost too despondent for me, and after hearing the lyrics to Brothers it's like these lyrics are a first draft)

Nobody Moves (I love when Jesse writes from another perspective. This song has so many "oh my god" moments. It's up there with a loy of TDAG songs.

Missing You (One of their catchiest choruses and a beautiful sequel to Guernica. Mene is pretty forgettable.)

Brother's Song (Some of Jesse's most exciting explicitly personal lyrics. Fantastic chorus, and the lead guitar on the reworking is perfect.)
