You keep changing your argument. You said it is inconsistent by bringing up Shotgun and I explained how it was consistent. Now you want to bring up other band brackets. So, im done.

He ran all the other band brackets, which is why I brought up the other bands (from the start) and how it included various official releases not on the official album. I haven't changed my argument once. That was my argument. Maybe you're not understanding?

It's certainly a great song. That match is total bullshit in the first round, but that's how random brackets go. At least they get a chance to battle.

 

Yeah, the only worse match for me would be YWK vs. Limousine. Jesus vs. Millstone was awful too

 

I'd very easily vote for YWK over Limo. I like Limo, but it is easily the most overrated song on this album, esp on this forum. It's great, but nowhere near their best. The intense love it gets is beyond me.

That's the other match I haven't totally decided on.

 

I'd have to go YWK also, but Limo is maybe my second favorite song from the band. I mean, 2-6 on TDAG are probably just my top five tbh.

 

I pre-ordered TDAG and it came with Aloc Acoc.

But we can bracket it in later so I don't have to vote it out any time soon. I love it, but if it goes against Sowing Season or Not the Sun it's game over.

Some tough choices this round. Going with Luca though Handcuffs has grown on me with time, but I can't vote against the bomb. Love Millstone but Jesus is on another level and is probably my favorite song of their's lyrically. Limo was the easy choice of the round, and Sowing is my pick for the whole thing. That last matchup though is brutal. Going with Degausser, think I prefer it just a bit more lyrically and the riffs, but it could go either way

This is the hardest one ever. My favourite ever album and I love every song.

-I think Luca is actually quite an underrated song, there's amazing dynamics to the song

Millstone
-Jesus is good but Millstone has such a better mood to it and I connect much more to it.

Limousine
-A favourite on the album but a slow burner and one over time that has solidified as one of my favourite BN songs.

Sowing Season
-Fantastic opener, fantastic lyrics, generally fantastic.

You Won't Know
-Seems appropiate that these two were put together since most of the time they are played together live. You Won't Know just pips this, it has an atmosphere and punch to it that Degausser makes up for with its emotional intricacy. This matchup sucks.


I hope Jesus doesn't win. It's good but there's so much more intricate, dynamic songs on this album, sad that Millstone will lose to it. Hope Archers is the dark horse of this album.

Luca (I love Handcuffs but the outro of Luca is too great)
Millstone (i feel like this is sacrilege but the final chorus w/ the 3 overlapping vocal melodies and the drum outro are what did it for me)

Yes I did that for TBS and LP and Blink. However, just like with LP, due to the sheer number of bonus/demo songs I decided to include bonuses in their own round unless officially attached to the album whether on international, deluxe, vinyl etc (my 9 was on the YFW vinyl). While on the Sowing Season single, it wasn't technically on a release of the actual album. Don't worry it'll be in the bonus bracket
