Yeah, usually these brackets shake out with the right winners, although the path to getting to that winner isn't always great.

Except in the TWY thread, the overall winner there was a disappointment.

 

Yea, generally the winner makes senses. 2nd place can be odd. All depend on the early matches.

Quiet Things

Tough choice, but I think Quiet Things elicits more of an emotional response from me these days. Especially that bridge into the final chorus.

Jaws would have been my choice

 

With those last couple it's down to a one vote gap.

Could still go either way and we are pretty much at our average amount of voters. Though there are still a few missing as we nearly hit 50 that one round.

 

If y'all let Tommy Gun lose I'm gonna be a sad panda.

 

I keep getting surprised that the main single is the track that keeps getting into the final of almost every round of every album of every band we've done this with. Really didn't think people were that into the hit singles usually unless casual fans. Quiet Things is near the bottom end of Deja for me.

 

I forget most of them, tbh. But TOYPAJ. Somehow came down to Online Songs and Everytime I Look For You.

Oh, and Logan and Soco weren't singles.

 

I voted for Quiet Things in just that round only. I'd easily rank Play Crack, Guernica, Me vs., Boy, Spinlight and Sic above it though.

 

I didn't vote for Quiet Things at all. But I do love the song.

 

"Online Songs"!?!?!? I knew I made the right decision staying away from the Blink thread.

 

Yea.... I didn't vote for the finals I believe because of that.
