I'm gonna guess that Jason is waiting until they officially announce it to really give impressions.

But this is just a theory.

 

Thanks @teebs41 and @supernovagirl for getting where i'm coming from. The funny thing is she is coming with me to see them in June. First night together, second night going on my own. Gonna be great to have it both ways.

 

People comparing a 30 second clip to past records is kind of funny ha

 

@ everyone saying things like "mepemepmep this already sounds better than Daisy", i have a message for you:

 

First night you kind of just sing along and act like a normal fan... Second night you go absolutely insane ha

 

I mean, it's not even a great quality clip. We have 30 seconds of what sounds like 192kbps. Enough to get excited and glean first impressions, probably not enough to make final judgment.

I remember when I listened to the amazon previews of Danger Days, I hated The Only Hope For Me Is You, and it ended up being one of my favorite songs on that album/from that band, so who knows.

Hopefully iTunes puts up a preview; theirs are higher quality and 90 seconds.

Or maybe the band will just release the song early, lol.

I hope to get that close this summer. How early do you get there in order to do that?!
Also, you may say you wouldn't settle for anything less but there is something to be said about seats haha. The acoustics are better and you can get a feel for the whole arena and it feels so great. I see merit in both places.

ive never seen them in a venue with seats. the venues they play in Canada are a lot smaller than the US.
ummm, the first time i saw Brand New i waited in line embarrassingly early. but its not that embarrassing i guess - i was 18 and Brand New was all i really cared about haha... but i was lined up by like 11am and nobody else got there till noon haha.
second time i saw them i got in line probably a couple hours later than that, and was fine.

 

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like they would've been more hyped if they didn't look at this thread?
