Circle area is good too, it's designed with an overhang and seats aren't allocated, so if you get to the front of it - you'll have a great view and sound.

 

o2 customers have their own line at some venues where you don't have to queue with standard ticket holders. You can also pre-order your drinks at the bar whilst waiting in the queue too. But you still have to queue up to get those pre-ordered drinks so it's not as great as it sounds initially haha.

 

Can't wait for my friend to wake up so I can give her grief for trying to convince me that waking up for a 9am presale was ridiculous because there's no way it'll sell out that early. She just doesn't understand how things work when it comes to Brand New.

 

Well damn. That's a pleasant surprise! I wonder if they'll do that for this gig! I'm never one to drink at gigs, especially BN. I need to remember this hahaha.

 

I'm gonna try get tickets Friday morn, studpidly forgot about o2 haha. But yeah, love me some Brixton Academy.

 

I believe there's a separate line usually going through the opposite door, for o2 customers only :) They usually have a banner on the metal barriers.

 

It's also first come first serve for seating at Brixton so if you get their early then you'll have a great view from up there (not that it's a bad view from further back).

 

Haha that's fair, it's for any type of drink though as the queues (despite there being about 6 bars on the bottom floor and a few upstairs) are always ridiculous at Brixton Academy - even if you want water you have to join the hoards of course. So any o2 customer can pre-order in line with an app or something, they'll probably try to tell you about it when you're there to get you to sign up to it haha. But yeah I tried it once a couple years ago only to realise I still have to queue to pick the order up, so what's the point?

 

Don't have O2 but thankfully my brother got tickets so going to see them in London :D

 

I'm leaving O2 so I'm glad I could get one final use out of them. O2 Priority tickets is why I've stuck with them so long to be fair.

Got Glasgow and London tickets after a bit of faffing about. The only other time I've been to Brixton was for Alexisonfire's 'last' show at the time. The stalls is staggered (like Picture House in Edinburgh if anyones been) so didnt think it's that hard for a good view and various places.

 

One of the main reasons I love Brixton Academy so much is because where ever you are in the venue - you can pretty much guarantee a great view.

It's all seats in that area except right at the back basically. The only thing they don't let you do in that area is stand where ever you want (ie in aisles or against barriers) - which works because at least then it ensures everyone can see up there.

 

Gonna have to keep my fingers crossed for tickets on Friday morning.

With there being just two dates, I assume this obviously can't be their last tour here. Gives me hope for a more inclusive one early next year. Birmingham would've been more convenient!

 

I hope they do a small tour like when they played the Glee club a few years back!

Yea prices were annoyingly high. Mine were about 50 with the fee. Closer up were even more expensive, balcony I think were 40 before fee. Which is really annoying because pit tickets for another show were 47. That disparity is outrageous.
