@Kevin360 haha I'm flattered but I definitely have to share that mantle with a few other users.

I wouldn't say I've lost faith in BN news, I just don't care anymore lol. I'll be ecstatic when it comes, but until then I just sit back and am whatevs about it. They're discography is so important to my life so I've kinda just accepted that, and I'm totally okay with never getting another LP.

 

Knock it off! You know deep down you want another LP from them!

 

Thursday will probably beat BN with a new album and they've been gone 5 years~!!!

 

I get the sentiment of being at peace with nothing more being released by Brand New but idk Daisy doesn't feel like a proper send off, like a final last album, and Mene definitely doesn't if that will end up being their last ever release. Hope we get something if just for closure. Like how, if thrice were to have ended for good, Anthology + Disarmed were the best way to do so.

 

What's this "if" business? We are 100% getting one. It's just a question of when

 

Years of pessimism lol, that Procrastinate email thing seems like it's certain but I honestly won't believe it until I have it in front of me.

 

They will release an LP, but they will only release one copy. It will be FLAC contained on a hard drive and they will send it out to sea. It is up to us to recover it.

I definitely do! And it isn't even deep haha! I'm just completely suppressing my emotions towards news until it's real.

 

I really want to believe that but I have my doubts more and more doubts these days.

Sidenote: Listened to Daisy today and all these years of waiting are a blessing in disguise when it comes to that record. I love it now.

 

There is really a lot to go on. Really shouldn't doubt it at this point!

 

Not doubting you but what is there to go on? Have been out of the loop for a while, last thing I saw was the procrastinate email and how Jesse said by next tour they'd have a record to play us or something.

 

Also kinda unrelated but wish the procrastinate art in your avatar was the album cover, or an album cover, too good to waste

I guess for me, I don't necessarily have doubts - I'm just trying to be less vocal about my anticipation / excitement because it's so easy for me to get caught up in nothing.

 

Between these guys and glassjaw, I have no idea whose album will come out first. They both tease and then disappear.

They went back on it.
Years ago daryl said albums were irrelevant. They are releasing an album this year.
