Am I the only one who has heard Bright Eyes for a decade because of their constant grouping with Brand New, as well as friends who constantly praise CO, but actually never liked them? Band does absolutely nothing for me.

Multiple classics. One of the best songwriters of his generation.

such a deep discography. The People's Key, his last record, is so well done. dark, but pushing pop structure and energy at times. I think it should be on a lot of BN fans to do list.

Wouldn't it be something to see Lacey take the route of Conor and just release a shit ton of music on his own?

 

I wanna see solo stuff in line with what Dustin Kensrue and Brian Fallon have done.

I'm still of the believe they won't really be done after 2018 but if they are I could totally see Jesse coming out of his shell and being all active on Twitter or Instagram.

They've never liked to be public, I suspect that 2018 will be the end of being in the public eye for most of them.

 

Band has delayed an album for how long and you expect them to actually end when they vaguely have hinted they might quit next year?

 

Disagree. Thought his production work on KD's Bubblegum was fantastic and would think he will continue to work in a studio capacity with some other artists.

EDIT: Though to your point...I think he will stay very behind the scenes.

Jesse is going to produce blink's next album.

 

Ha! As cool as that would be, the album would take forever to come out just like Brand New, and Tom before Matt. I could travel to namek and back several times in the time frame we'd have

 

Still nothing new huh? They've been pretty low-key since Jesse had a kid last I checked. Heard rumors about a studio time awhile ago, but nothing really significant since. Its okay...Fall is still some time away and there is still some hope.

I love the whole bit about Adam calling Jesse a dick. Guy is a massive tool. If anyone needs proof about how big of a dick Adam is, read the TBS Oral History from alternative press.

Adam, Mark and Eddie all come off terribly in that. And honestly if Straylight Run was going better, they wouldn't have reunited. At this point Adam doesn't like Jesse because TBS has tried to tour with Brand New and Brand New doesn't respond to them according to an AMA. Which I think is amazing.

 

I wouldn't want this but would it surprise anyone if TBS is on Brand New's 'final' tour?

I'd put my money on MO, Thrice or KD but part of me has sneaking suspicion TBS might be on it.

 

I really hope they stay far away from a Brand New tour
