It's not even on the UK Apple Music.
The "Jude Law..." video is though strangely enough.

No Seatbelt and Soco have imo.

Yes...but a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts

Logan to Government Center can still be pretty groovy. Most YFW songs remind me of now-obscure anxieties of youth; lyrically speaking, time passing has made the album emotionally un-relatable. I don't want anyone drinking and forgetting their seatbelt when their head goes through the windshield.

Soco did until Jesse screamed "I'm just jealous 'cause you're and in love" at the Ommegang Brewery. Feels. Every time that song comes on now, sadness creeps in a tad.

Soco soco soco. And the coughing at the end of No Seatbelt. But that's an album I rarely ever spin anymore. Same goes for Deja really. Love it, and when they play songs from it live I'm howling them back, but outside of that I just don't vibe with it much anymore. I've almost always been exclusively TDAG and Daisy.

The band did vocal counter melodies and harmonies so well on YFW.

Shower Scene is such a great opener. It's still a banger.

Definitely don't think that album is as generic or bad as it is so suddenly being referred to. A true classic in its genre and a lot of fun. Some lyrics haven't aged well and I look at in a different light. At the same time, Jesse seems much more a different person with different concepts for writing lyrics this decade, IAAN being an exception/throwback.

Yfw is a good record, it's not perfect and (especially lyrically) some of it is dated but Logan, Soco, Sudden Death in Carolina among others are fine fine songs. The revisionist narrative that brand new wasn't a great band until Devil and God is one of my least favorite popular opinions on this site. At the same time I don't think they are the greatest rock band of the modern era or anything so if we don't get a follow up I will be disappointed but ok with it.

I listened to Brand New's discography for the first time years after all their albums were released, and they definitely weren't great before TDAG

Shhhhhh people in here acting like Your Favorite Weapon wasn't the greatest album of all time at some point in their lives.

Y'all are just starved for conversation.

If YFW is bad because of lyrics, then Daisy is bad.

I don't think it's necessarily all the lyrics, just a few lines here and there. It's really funny to see people's opinions start swaying to agree with others. Suddenly talking about how they weren't good before TDAG... lolwut.

Lol my band covered 70x7 at a house show yesterday and I was thinking... this is a strange song to be playing at 30, still was a ton of fun tho. Tfw is just a fun album, however I will say Deja is an incredible record, I don't understand the complaints for that one.

Pretty sure lots of people think Deja hasn't aged well. I can't speak to that personally though since I first heard it in 2012 and never thought it was great.
