What exactly is Zack's involvement with Brand New again?

I thought he was in some sort of management role, but when you go on Brand New's Facebook page, it says their management is BlackBox

Zack is involved with lots of bands and labels. The likelihood of anything happening with Brand New is quite small.

 

That is probably the band management. Zac is involved with Procrastinate! which is their label.

Now that I see the band's management's e-mail listed on their Facebook page, we should all just blast them with e-mails every day asking about the new album.

Zack just tweeted about McCafferty's EP coming on June 30. Ugh.

It's honestly gotten to the point where I can't fathom Brand New announcing LP5. Like, I do think eventually we'll get it, but I can't fathom a day where I log onto the internet and read the announcement. It's going to rock my world.

 

I wouldnt be surprised if they just called it quits and didn't tell fans haha.

 

Spring is being super super optimistic. I doubt we see an album before July. Fall tour is probably legit though

You're right. For some reason, I thought this video was professionally recorded, but it's just a multi-cam audience recording.

How the hell can Jesse still sing You Won't Know after all these years? Physically, I mean. I've tried to cover that song acoustically so many times, and whenever I get to "And I wish that I could tell you right now..." my voice starts to give

 

I said this in the news post for IAAN turning one and i'll say it here too. See my avatar for the type of release i would like them to go out on. At this point I really don't care if we never get a new album. Something I never thought I would say before but now I'm ok with it.

 

I'd be fine with that.

 

I've really been enjoying that release lately. If Brand New did a similar concept live set on 2 cds spanning their entire discography and a dvd of the show plus maybe some sort of other features would bookend their career nicely. Packaging would be BRAND NEW 2000-2018 and the last song of the set being soco of course.

In all seriousness I genuinely believe we'll get something in the way of an announcement soon. There's been no info report yet and I hope that's maybe them holding off to include the LP reveal. Maybe. I feel like at the very latest there'll be a single or something by mid-June and an album by August.

I assume they'll be quick about rolling it out once they do announce it too. Didn't Daisy get announced in August and then released in September?
